Sheriffs Office

The Labette County Sheriff’s Office is proud to serve the citizens of Labette County.  In addition to providing primary law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of the county twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the Sheriff’s Office also provides law enforcement in the cities of Angola, Bartlett, Edna, Labette, Mound Valley, and Valeda. Labette County is mostly rural and consists of approximately 653 square miles with more than 19,000 citizens.
