Family Planning
The Labette County Health Department’s Family Planning Clinic provides family planning services including birth control and pregnancy testing as well as screening for breast and cervical cancer. The clinic does not provide family practice or primary care services.
Services available:
- Reproductive health
- Health education
- Contraceptive services: birth control pills, Depo injections, condoms
- Well-woman examination
- Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening
- Pregnancy testing, counseling and referral
- STD testing and treatment
Fees for services:
Fees for office visits including family planning services, lab services and supplies will be determined based on family size and proof of client’s total annual gross income (e.g., paycheck stub, letter from employer). The health department is a KanCare provider for all managed care organizations: Aetna Better Health of Kansas, Sunflower Health Plan and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. We do not accept private insurance or insurance from any Medicare HMO plans for family planning services.
